![]() ![]() It's just a way to annoy people without patience into purchasing the full version so they can turn off the demo. The demo will play first for the free version (and can't be turned off), yet it WILL run the benchmark after. Really should be quite equal with the Ti edging out my 2 1070's or so i've seen in other benchmarks.Īs in the 3DMark demo? Ill try that and seeĪs in the 3DMark demo? That doesnt have the Fire Strike test in it.ĭownload it, and run it. I'm using DDR3 2133Mhz, and my 2 1070's are better then the base score you put up. Game FPS, it's only about 1-2 FPS but it brings up your minimum frames in the end. (Best ever being DDR3 2400 but it's performance jump over the 2133MHz is not that big to warrant the increased cost, and heat.) There is about a 5%-10% performance difference between DDR3-1600 and DDR3-2133 on memory intensive applications or when paired with bandwidth hungry graphics cards. Under DDR3, anything above 2133MHz has very little gains. Over-all 1600 is more or less the obsolete baseline. Post the result hyperlink here so we can look at it and tell you if it is a CPU or a GPU issue. You have Steam? Download 3DMark for free and run the 3DMark Firestrike benchmark (the 1080P version, NOT ultra). My i7 4770k is overclocked to 4.4ghz currentlyġ6 gb of 1600 mhz ram, from all the research Ive done, the ram speed isnt a major factor in your gpu performace and this is a major difference in gpu speed but I dunno This won't affect all games and benchmarks, just the ones that are CPU bound, so you shouldn't worry overmuch. Now, it wouldn't be as big of a deal if you were running a resolution higher than 1080P such as 4K or even 1440P which would shift more of the load to the GPU. RAM speed can also affect this, and if you are running 1600MHz RAM it does have some affect on how fast the CPU can feed the GPU, but not as much as an older, stock CPU would. Your max FPS is lower than others, pointing out that your CPU isn't feeding the GPU fast enough in certain scenes. Overclock your CPU, and then overclock the GPU. OEM manufacturers may change the number and type of output ports, while for notebook cards availability of certain video outputs ports depends on the laptop model rather than on the card itself. As a rule, data in this section is precise only for desktop reference ones (so-called Founders Edition for NVIDIA chips). Types and number of video connectors present on the reviewed GPUs. Integrated GPUs have no dedicated VRAM and use a shared part of system RAM. Parameters of VRAM installed: its type, size, bus, clock and resulting bandwidth. For notebook video cards it's notebook size, connection slot and bus, if the video card is inserted into a slot instead of being soldered to the notebook motherboard. For desktop video cards it's interface and bus (motherboard compatibility), additional power connectors (power supply compatibility). Useful when choosing a future computer configuration or upgrading an existing one. Information on GeForce GTX 1080 and Radeon RX Vega 7 compatibility with other computer components. Note that power consumption of some graphics cards can well exceed their nominal TDP, especially when overclocked. These parameters indirectly speak of performance, but for precise assessment you have to consider their benchmark and gaming test results. ![]() General performance parameters such as number of shaders, GPU core base clock and boost clock speeds, manufacturing process, texturing and calculation speed. ![]()
